By all means PAINT
When you are inspired to paint, by all means PAINT. When you have a spare minute to paint, by all means PAINT. When you hear the little voice in your head that says, "I think I want to paint", by all means PAINT.
I've said it before and I will say it again and again to anybody that wants to improve their work. PAINT, PAINT, PAINT. Truly, putting in the brush miles are the only way, the only path, that will help you get to where you want to go.
I took my own advice today, I painted and have 3/30 of the Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days ready on day 2. I had things to do, I didn't do them. Christmas is still hanging around in my home... I really should have put it away today. Dishes are in the sink... I really should wash them and clean up the kitchen. The bed is unmade, laundry needs to be done. The cat box needs changing & please ignore the dust bunny that just hopped across the room... "By all means PAINT".
Tomorrow I will clean the cat box, do the dishes and maybe start on putting away Christmas...after I paint.
